Duke #5 ESPN, #7 AP

Is Duke really a Top 5 team? Watching the Cornell and Temple games would indicate no but pinpoint a team that is better outside the Top 4. I know Pitt beat Duke at the buzzer but they are a much different team now then they were on December 20th without Levance Fields of Dreams and Mike Cook. G'Town just got spanked by Pitt and Roy Hibbert is vastly overrated, Washington State looked unimpressive against UCLA, Tennessee plays an exciting brand of basketball but are they ready to be a consistent Top 10 program yet, A&M has played a Cupcake schedule, Indiana has a great player in Eric Gordon but they got spanked by Xavier in their only real test, Michigan State is solid but can I really take a team seriously that lost to Grand Valley State in the preseason, Butler is a solid mid-major but they can't even beat Wright State let alone anyone in the ACC (excluding Maryland last year), etc...I know it's still early but there isn't a team that has a better resume than Duke outside of the Top 4 in terms on big wins (Illinois, Marquette, Wisconsin) in addition to terrific talent on the perimeter.
