Mass Exodus?

I am hearing now that the Lance Thomas transfer rumors may be more than just that. I don't know how valid the sources are but supposedly a relative close to the family has contacted Rutgers, Seton Hall, and Louisville about a possible transfer. Word of advice Lance, don't do it. I can maybe see going to Louisville and playing for Pitino but Rutgers and St. John's would be a huge mistake. I know his buddy Eugene Harvey is the PG at Seton Hall but give me a break, Bobby Gonzalez or Coach K? I know you're upset about playing time and your role this year but with McRoberts gone and Patterson 50/50 at best of coming to Duke, your role will be increased dramatically. In fact, as we speak right now, Lance is the starting center next season. Yeah, he's a little undersized but if he adds a little more muscle, he can build himself into that Elton Brand/Carlos Boozer type center Duke has had over the years. If Lance goes, don't be surprised to see Marty Pocius playing center at times next year, that may be the only way he gets playing time. Right now, Duke is the oreo cookie team: tough on the outside and soft on the inside. The fate of next year could depend on Patterson's decision.
