The Wolfpack did it again by beating Virginia Tech last night. NC State will play North Carolina tomorrow for a right to make an improbable run to the NCAA Tournament. Pretty amazing considering if they lost to Duke on Thursday, they wouldn't have qualified for the NIT. 3 days makes a huge difference...
The Wolfpack suffered a blow on Saturday though when Atsur, their leader, re injured his hamstring and could really only go at about 50%.
Prediction: Even though they run a slow, deliberate pace, NC State will come up short. They won't be able to keep up with Carolina. It could stay close for a half or so but look for Carolina to win by 10-15 and take the ACC Title.
